Dante Alighieri is a fellow soldier under God's command, and served as a friend to Kenta Alexander, but turned antagonist to kill his old companion. He is ultimately slain by Kenta in the now-barren Garden of Eden.

Ultimately, after his defeat by kenta's hands, his scythe is then taken by the reincarnation of Noswer, and has then obtained all the powers from Dante, and unlocked its true powers that had been sealed. Dante's Cross

Dante's Cross is a very powerful holy item that contains the thorn from the Crown of Christ, and was a keepsake from Beatrice. It has the power to exterminate or absolve demons and damned souls. After his ultimate defeat by Kenta, the reborn Noswer takes his cross into his possession, thus unlocking its hidden powers from the will of his benevolant nature. It has the following abilities:
